Wood and Wool is a 3-minute solo created for the HiSolo Series, curated by Devika Wickremesinghe and Alexx Shilling. Raw sheep’s wool is pulled out of from pockets, from under the arms, and from between the legs, and softly pushed into holes made by what was once knots in a thin plank of redwood. The plank is then balanced along the spine, while I crawl out on my hands and knees.
